 Last year, the longtime Netflix executive was put in charge of the company's aggressive push into original content. For Holland, that includes developing properties like this year's prison comedy-drama "Orange is the New Black" and last fall's Emmy award-winning "House of Cards." The political drama, starring Kevin Spacey, is partly responsible for the company's spike in new members during first quarter 2013: three million new members, bringing total global subscribers then to over 36 million.

Chief Technology Officer Cisco Cisco's Chief Technology and Strategy Officer oversees the computer networking giant's investment and acquisition strategy. And Warrior has certainly kept busy, leading at least 15 acquisitions over the last 12 months, including Ubiquisys, a UK-based provider of technologies that improve mobile data connectivity. Cisco CEO John Chambers called her one of the sharpest minds in technology. Those are more than just kind words: Chambers also announced earlier this year Warrior is a frontrunner to succeed him when he retires.
